Sevilla boss Pablo Machin warns of La Liga ‘vertigo’

Sevilla boss Pablo Machin has warned his side against ‘vertigo’ after his side went top of La Liga going into the international break.

Machin, appointed at the Andalusian club this summer from Girona, has guided his side to four straight league victories to the league summit after eight games.

“We are taking advantages of our chances at the minute and that has taken us top of the league,” Machin told reporters, as cited by Diario AS.

“At the moment, our performance level is good enough to be at the top of the table and that in turns generates momentum and confidence.

“We must remain calm and realise how long the season is, that there will be tough runs of results and if we do not analyse the standings then we will not get vertigo.”

Next up for Los Rojiblancos after the international break is a testing trip to Barcelona in the Camp Nou.
