Sevilla Coach Pablo Machin called his side’s 3-0 victory over Real Madrid ‘a night to remember’ as he savouredthe result.
Los Rojiblancos continued their resurgence in form as two goals from Andre Silva and a Wissam Ben Yedder finish secured a stunning win for the Andalusian side.
“It’s a night to enjoy and to remember,” Machin told reporters, as cited by Sevilla club media.
“Those who do not beat Real Madrid many times will remember it, without a doubt. The crowd has enjoyed it since the first minute and until the end.
“It was a round night for the people of Seville to enjoy. (It is) a pity that it is not on a weekend so that the night can be extended.”
Sevilla are now up to fourth in the standings as the victory followed up Sunday’s 6-2 victory at Levante.
