La Liga Preview: Espanyol-Levante

With four draws in their last five Liga meetings and both sides on four points, it’s hard to back a winner between Espanyol and Levante on Sunday.

Espanyol boss Rubi on how his side used the international break: “Today we remembered the sheer number of things we’ve worked on.

“We haven’t stopped, we’ve done many things. If we can apply these improvements quickly, we’ll be a very formidable team.

“We need to do that so we can be one. We can’t afford to correct things and then not show it in games.”

Levante boss Paco Lopez on his selection dilemma: ”It’s more of a problem having 25 solutions than 25 players.

“Obviously only 14 can play at a time, but the most important thing is that we have many solutions.

“It gives us peace of mind to know that we can choose the best players. The message here is everyone is important, the League is very long and that they’re all going to help us.”
