La Liga Preview: Leganes-Villarreal

Sunday’s bout at Butarque involves both of La Liga’s bottom teams, with Leganes and Villarreal out to stop the rot.

Leganes boss Mauricio Pellegrino on the chances of Real Madrid loanee Andriy Lunin: “Cuellar is going to be the goalkeeper on Sunday.

“We have all our goalkeepers available, but he’ll continue. I’ll decide the rest of my starting XI on Sunday.

“New opportunities crop up every day. I’m not hiding anything, but everyone knows the squad we have.

“It’s a matter of respect for my players to know things first.”

Villarreal boss Javier Calleja on why he will not instigate an overhaul: “We have seven games in a month.

“We want to be 100 percent for each of them, so that’s why we need everyone. We have a good squad and therefore we can make changes.

“There will be changes in the team, but our approach won’t change significantly, neither will any of what we do be radical.

“There will be some tweaks but within our idea of playing.”
