Real Betis ‘have a team who can dream and are capable of doing great things’ according to midfielder Sergio Canales.
The 27-year-old joined Los Verdiblancos on a free transfer from Real Sociedad this summer, having previously enjoyed stints at Racing Santander and Real Madrid.
“We have a team who can dream and are capable of doing great things,” Canales told an interview with El Desmarque.
“On the other hand, you have to keep your feet on the ground and remain calm, continue to work and stay confident, then things will handle themselves.
“We know the importance of momentum and continuing our level of playing, but we are calm and fearless going into both La Liga and in Europe.
“We have all spoken in the dressing room – which is very united – and we know what we must do.”
