Real Madrid Coach Julen Lopetegui has explained how Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema as training ‘like kids’.
The two forwards have enjoyed an impressive start to La Liga and both have moved into the limelight following Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit to Juventus.
“They are like kids in training, very enthusiastic,” told Cadena Ser’s El Larguero programme.
“Nobody has changed from before (his arrival), we are talking about excellent players who are the very best in the world but the difference is their motivation to keep improving.
“We are a great team for sure, there is no doubt about that and one player’s departure (Cristiano Ronaldo) does not change that.”
Bale has scored in each of his last nine matches for Madrid while Benzema has six goals in his last five.
