Luis Suarez insists Barcelona beating Huesca 8-2 was more important than him scoring his first goals of the season on Sunday.
“What was most important was that my goals helped the team win the game,” he said after the match.
“Little by little we’re gaining our rhythm. We started off a bit sleepy, but Huesca’s goal made us react.
“The truth is that when you score, you want to celebrate and the adrenaline of your goal is taken away a bit by the VAR, but [officials] can’t make mistakes anymore.
“It’s always important to be top, but the season has just begun and we’ll have to be prepared for whatever comes.”
