Valladolid keen on Madrid’s Vinicius

Real Valladolid are eyeing a remarkable deal to sign Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior due to Ronaldo Nazario’s impending presidency.

Cadena Ser report the former Barcelona and Real Madrid striker is set to buy the relevant shares to replace Carlos Suarez – who will remain on the club’s board – in the presidency role.

The news first emerged on Monday night on the radio station’s El Larguero programme that the former Brazil international was in talks to buy the newly-promoted club for €30m.

Ronaldo, an ambassador for the European champions, led the presentation for fellow countryman Vinicius at the Bernabeu earlier this summer following his €45m arrival from Flamengo.

Diario AS say there are hopes that Ronaldo can persuade Madrid president Florentino Perez to sanction a season-long loan deal for the Brazilian forward.

Vinicius appeared for Madrid’s Castilla team last weekend and looks unlikely to play a major role in the club’s first-team squad this season.
