Barca’s Rafinha wants Betis move

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara wants to join Real Betis but the two clubs stand apart on the deal details, say reports in Spain.

Catalan radio station RAC1 reports the two clubs are happy for an initial season-long loan deal but Barca want the purchase option at the end of the campaign to be compulsory.

The initial loan deal is said to have been agreed by €1.5m while the full transfer is said to hold a valuation of €25m, but the Andalusian club do not want to be tied to it.

The Brazil midfielder spent the season half of last season on loan at Inter – who have once again been linked with him – while he netted in the Joan Gamper trophy win over Boca Juniors earlier this month.

Rafinha made 17 appearances in Serie A for the Nerazzuri last season after a January loan, starting 12 of those games and has been linked with a host of clubs this summer.

The Milanese giants had a €40m option to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis but failed to raise the funds in time and Rafinha returned to the Camp Nou.

Benfica have also been linked with a move to the midfielder.
