Athletic Club Bilbao Coach Eduardo Berizzo has issued a public warning to Inaki Williams ‘not to mix private life in the public sphere’.
A video emerged in public of the Ghanaian-born attacker in an argument with his partner with the boss expressing his concern at the situation.
“It is never good for a player’s private life to be in the public sphere,” Berizzo told a press conference, in quotes cited by Marca.
“As a Coach you do not want to be disrespectful but if it becomes problematic for me then I will need to deal with it as an issue.
“For any footballer, you must be careful with how you conduct yourself not only because of the scrutiny but the club you are representing.
“Against Huesca? Aritz Aduriz and Inigo Martinez may return, but we cannot say for sure until the last minute, we will examine the situation.”
