Sevilla are in talks with Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons in a deal which would essentially see him replace Steven N’Zonzi, say reports.
Sky Sport Italia claim the Andalusian club have identified the Frenchman as the ideal replacement for N’Zonzi, who ironically joined Roma in a €32m deal earlier this week.
The 29-year-old only joined the Italian club last summer from Olympique Lyonnais but has made just 23 appearances, failing to establish himself as a first-team regular.
Gonalons was signed by Roma for €5m but it is likely they would want to make a profit on the deal should he exit this summer.
