Sarabia ‘wants to feel valued’

Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia will make a decision upon his future this week amid reports of a move to Real Sociedad.

The 26-year-old has netted 23 goals in 102 appearances for the Andalusian club – including in Sunday’s Spanish Super Copa – since joining from Getafe in a €1m deal back in 2016.

“In the next few days I will decide my future,” Sarabia is cited as saying by Fichajes.net

“What I want is to feel valued.”

Marca say La Real president Jokin Aperribay is said to be aware of growing interest in the midfielder and wants to complete the operation as soon as possible.

Carlos Vela, Sergio Canales and Xabi Prieto have all left the Basque club this summer, leaving them short in attacking position and Sarabia’s invention could provide a much-needed boost.

Sarabia is also cited by Diario AS that he felt Sevilla had chances to defeat Barcelona in the Super Copa: “We had opportunities to win the game.

“The team worked very hard and we have lost this game because of small details in the match, it is frustrating.”
