West Ham enter Domagoj Vida race

West Ham have made an offer for Besiktas defender and Croatia international Domagoj Vida, also a reported Sevilla target, say BeIn Sports.

The 29-year-old starred for his nation in this summer’s World Cup tournament, helping them to a surprise place in the final where they ultimately lost to France.

The experienced defender – who is most commonly played in the heart of defence but also can be deployed on the right-hand side – only joined Turkish club Besiktas on a four-and-a-half-year deal in January.

ABC de Sevilla quote Turkish outlet Fanatik that Los Rojiblancos are keen on strengthening their backline with the defender, with Liverpool also said to hold a keen interest.

Atletico Madrid, Leicester City and Everton have also been mentioned in relation to the former Dynamo Kiev defender.
