Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has doubled down on Neymar’s future by ruling out an exit for the Brazilian.
The former Barcelona star joined the Parisians in a €222m world record transfer last summer but has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who have released two statements denying an approach.
“I am sure convinced he will not leave,” Al-Khelaifi is cited as saying by Diario Sport.
“You can ask Neymar, but he is a Paris Saint-Germain played and he will continue at our club, he will honour his contract and he enjoys the club.
“The World Cup was fantastic for my players and for Neymar, there is a lot of expectation and pressure which comes from his role with Brazil.
“Mbappe had an incredible tournament and Neymar returned to his best form after recovering from his injury.”
On Friday, comments from Neymar ruled out an exit from the Parc des Princes this summer.
