Real Betis are interested in a deal to take Inter midfielder Joao Mario on a season-long loan deal, according to reports.
The Portuguese international spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United but didn’t sign for the Hammers outright.
El Desmarque cite a report in Portuguese outlet Record which states the 25-year-old is on the shopping list for Betis, although the Milanese giants would prefer a permanent sale.
Mario was signed by the Nerazzurri in a €40m deal from Sporting CP two summers ago and they would be keen to recoup more than half that amount in the result of any move.
The midfielder scored twice and provided six assists in 29 appearances last season at Inter and the East London club.
