Venezuelan striker Darwin Machis has left Granada after six years to sign for Italian club Udinese on a four-year deal, it has been confirmed.
The 25-year-old scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 33 La Liga 123 outings for the Andalusian club last season and has since impressed on trial for the Friulani.
“We saw Machis in action during training and he had been on the Udinese radar for a while,” technical director Daniele Pradè told the club’s official website.
“He can dribble, has pace, an eye for goal and determination, all of which mix perfectly with the new philosophy we want to push forward.”
Machis previously enjoyed loan spells at Hercules, Huesca and Leganes.
