Barca hold meeting with Adrien Rabiot

Barcelona general manager Pep Segura and technical secretary Eric Abidal have met with Paris Saint-Germain officials over Adrien Rabiot, claim reports.

El Mundo Deportivo say the pair met with representatives of the French champions to discuss a deal for the central midfielder, who is out of contract next June.

Rabiot’s contractual situation has given hope to the Spanish champions that a value deal can be struck this summer for a player for whom they’ve had a long-standing interest.

A report in France Football earlier this month said Abidal had met with the player’s mother to discuss a potential deal, while the Catalan outlet has printed an image of the Barca duo in the Paris airport.

However, PSG owner Nasser Al Khelaifi is reportedly still confident of a renewal for the 23-year-old.
