Valencia have approached CSKA Moscow regarding the availability of full-back and Russian international Mario Fernandes, say reports.
The Brazil-born defender starred for Russia at this summer’s World Cup and he netted the equaliser in Saturday’s quarter final defeat to Croatia.
A report in Brazil-based UOL Esporte claim Los Che have made an approach for his availability but have been quoted at a price of €20m, which could scupper any deal.
The 27-year-old has spent six seasons at CSKA having initially joined from Gremio in 2012 while he has won 10 caps for Russia having already been capped by Brazil.
Last year Fernandes signed a new long-term deal at the club until 2022.
