Valencia ‘no plans’ to sell Zaza

Valencia have confirmed they are prepared to listen to offers for striker Simone Zaza but have no immediate plans to sell.

Earlier this week, Gazzetta dello Sport stated an agreement has been struck between the player and Milan on a four-year deal worth a reported €2.5m per season.

“Zaza is very important for us and he’ll train with his teammates on Monday,” said Los Che general director Mateu Alemany in a Press conference.

“All players have a price-tag on the market and we’ll evaluate eventual offers than come in, but also have to consider the impact on the quality of the squad.

“Both aspects will be considered for Zaza, as for every player. You cannot have economic success without sporting results.”

Zaza netted 13 goals with five assists in 39 competitive games for Los Che last season, but he is reported to be heading for the exit door at the Mestalla.
