Line-ups: Spain-Russia

Andres Iniesta is dropped for Spain's World Cup last-16 tie with Russia as Fernando Hierro opts for a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Iniesta's place in midfield is taken by Koke, who partners Sergio Busquets in a double pivot, while Marco Asensio lines up on the left wing, with Thiago Alcantara making way.

Elsewhere, Nacho Fernandez comes in for Dani Carvajal at right-back, although the trio are available to Hierro during the game.

As for Russia, defender Igor Smolnikov is suspended and attacking midfielder Alan Dzagoev is ruled out for the rest of the World Cup with injury.

Nonetheless, Coach Stanislav Cherchesov brings his big boys back in Moscow, among them Chelsea and Juventus target Aleksandr Golovin, although Denis Cheryshev drops to the substitutes' bench.

Spain are heavy favourites to win today's knockout clash but have never beaten a host nation at a major tournament in nine previous attempts.
