Betis want Inter’s Nagatomo

Real Betis are interested in a move for Inter defender and Japan international Yuto Nagatomo, according to reports in the Spanish press.

The 31-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Galatasaray and the Milanese giants are reportedly now keen on a permanent sale.

The left-wing back is currently in Russia with the Japan national team, for whom he has won 103 caps, but should resolve his club future next month.

ABC de Sevilla suggest he is on the shortlist to replace Riza Durmisi – who joined Lazio in a €7m deal earlier this month – at Betis and join his international teammate Takashi Inui.

Nagatomo first joined Inter in 2011 from FC Tokyo.
