Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran Torres has extended his contract at the club by a further year to take him through until June 2019.
The full-back was out of contract at the Wanda Metropolitano this summer but has now put pen to paper on a new one-year contract.
“My commitment and loyalty to this club make my heart only think of being a Rojiblanco,” Juanfran is cited as saying.
The 33-year-old, who began his career at Real Madrid, has amassed over 300 appearances for Los Rojiblancos since a January 2011 move from Osasuna.
