Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz has confirmed ‘I am joining Napoli’ with only the timing of the announcement still undecided.
The Spain Under-21 international will join the Naples-based club in a €30m deal on a five-year contract, worth a reported €2.5m per annum.
“I can confirm that I am joining Napoli, but I do not know when it will be made official,” Fabian told the Italian press, as cited by Sevilla Info.
Fabian renewed his contract at Los Verdiblancos until 2023 in January, reportedly hiking his release clause from a lowly €12m to a fee in excess of €30m.
The Betis youth product netted three goals in 34 Liga appearances this season as the club secured a top six finish and a return to European football.
