Madrid ‘agree terms with Alisson’

Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker but are €20m short of the Italian club’s asking price, say reports in Spain.

A report in El Mundo Deportivo claims the European champions have lodged a €60m bid for the Brazilian international, but Roma are sticking to their €80m asking price.

Alisson has also been linked with moves to Chelsea and Liverpool, but he is under contract in Italy until 2021 and it is not believed either English club can match his asking price.

On Wednesday, Marca claimed Madrid had ‘accelerated’ talks for the former Internacional goalkeeper, who has insisted he wants his future clarified at the earliest possible date.

Mundo Deportivo claim the shot-stopper has given the thumbs up to Los Blancos after his agent Ze Maria agreed personal terms for a five-year deal with option for a sixth.

However, the club is offering €55m plus €5m in bonuses, whereas Roma are demanding €80m for the international, who is expected to be Brazil’s number one goalkeeper at the World Cup.
