Valencia have made an approach for Bordeaux midfielder and France youth international Zaydou Youssouf, say reports in Spain.
Marca cite France Football as reporting the 20-year-old is the subject of a €1.5m offer from Los Che despite just starting two Ligue 1 matches.
Youssouf, of Comorian descent, has been capped up to Under-20 level for France and is tipped as a potential future international.
Valencia are keen to bolster their squad depth ahead of next season, when they will return to the Champions League.
