Real Betis are considering a new deal for Loren Moron after the striker was linked with a possible summer move to Villarreal, say reports in Spain.
The 24-year-old striker made his debut for Los Verdiblancos in February – scoring twice against Villarreal – and has netted seven times in just 14 senior appearances.
The previous month, the Seville-based club rejected offers for the striker from La Liga 123 clubs and renewed his contract at Estadio Benito Villamarin until June 2021 with a €25m release clause.
Estadio Deportivo now say the Yellow Submarine could look to trigger that option this summer with only Enes Unal and Nicola Sansone as attacking options due to the expiration of Carlos Bacca’s loan deal from Milan.
Betis will look to renew Moron’s contract to ward off any potential interest, and increase the release clause in the process.
