Alaves have completed the permanent signing of striker John Guidetti from Celta Vigo following a successful loan spell.
The Swedish international made 18 appearances for the Basque club after a January loan move, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
The former Manchester City and Glasgow Celtic striker joined Celta on a free transfer in 2015 but became surplus to requirements at Estadio Balaidos.
Guidetti infamously missed a glorious opportunity to seal Celta’s place in last season’s Europa League final in the last minute of the semi-final against Manchester United.
The reported transfer fee for the striker is reported to be around the €4m mark.
