‘Bale’s given me a headache!’

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane admits Gareth Bale has given him a selection headache for the Champions League Final after his brace against Celta Vigo.

“Bale in form? It’s better having everyone plugged in like this,” the Coach said after Los Blancos’ 5-0 victory on Saturday.

“After that, it’s clear that I’ll have a headache when picking my team for the Final. He did very well in everything and showed it.

“I’m happy for him, but the important thing is that we’ve all arrived in optimal form for Kiev.

“We had a great game and it was important we did. We played with real sincerity, scoring six goals and playing lots of football.

“Keylor? I’m happy for him, he saved us two or three times against Celta. It gives us life when Keylor does this kind of thing. He’s very important.

“My Madrid? I’ve improved a bit, certainly. It’s inevitable. If I keep training the team then I’ll improve even more.

“The people I work with also help me. My XI for Kiev? I don’t know any of it. Neymar? I don’t know if Madrid’s players are valued little, but we can’t stop people talking about players who can come here because the important ones want to.

“At the very least, the club and I value them very much for what they’re doing. They run and fight.”
