Line-ups: Madrid-Celta

Gareth Bale starts for Real Madrid this evening against Celta Vigo, who name top goalscorer Iago Aspas on the substitutes’ bench.

Bale partners Karim Benzema in a two-pronged attack, with Isco playing just behind them, as Cristiano Ronaldo continues to recover from an ankle injury.

Dani Carvajal is also out with a hamstring problem and Sergio Ramos is rested, so Achraf Hakimi comes in from the wilderness at right-back and Nacho Fernandez moves into central defence.

Celta, on the other hand, are boosted by Aspas’ early return from a hamstring, although the striker is not thrown straight back into the XI.

Los Blancos have not lost at home to the Galicians in La Liga since November 2006, although the Galicians did beat them 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Copa del Rey last season.
