Levante have confirmed that Coach Paco Lopez will stay on with the club next season.
Lopez was only promoted by Levante in March, having been in charge of their B team and with the side just a place and point above the relegation zone in La Liga.
However, the 50-year-old has overseen a spectacular turnaround in results, which has seen the Valencians win seven of their nine games under him, to warrant a one-year contract with the option of another season.
It comes on the same day that Leganes, whom Levante beat 3-0 the night before, announced the departure of boss Asier Garitano.
