Villarreal’s Bacca set for Roma?

Carlos Bacca may not remain with Villarreal next season as Roma are interested in a potential swap deal with his parent club Roma, say reports.

The Colombian striker has netted 18 goals in 42 appearances for the Yellow Submarine this campaign and are said to hold a €15m option to sign him permanently from Milan.

However, Marca cite a report in Tuttosport which states Roma and the Rossoneri are discussing the possibility of a swap deal between the former Sevilla striker and Edin Dzeko.

Roma’s current sporting director Monchi originally signed the 31-year-old from Club Bruges for Sevilla, whom he helped win the Europa League in 2014 and 2015.

Villarreal could be preparing to compensate for the striker's departure by lining up a move for Espanyol's Gerard Moreno, according to reports.
