Barca to swap Mina for Lenglet?

Barcelona will sign Clement Lenglet should Samuel Umtiti leave this summer and sanction a loan move for Yerry Mina to Sevilla, say reports in Spain.

Lenglet, 22, has impressed for Los Rojiblancos in a turbulent season for the club and has been linked with a future move to Barca by ABC de Sevilla.

Now El Desmarque report he could join the Catalan giants this summer with Mina, a January arrival at the Camp Nou, going the other way on a season-long loan deal.

The Colombian defender joined the Blaugrana from Brazilian club Palmeiras four months ago but has made just two league appearances to date.

Lenglet was the penultimate arrival at the Andalusian club under sporting director Monchi, signing from Ligue 1 outfit Nancy in January 2017.

His current deal at the club expires in June 2021 but his current minimum release clause reportdlu stands at €40m – seen as an affordable price for many leading clubs who may be interested in his services.

Umtiti may reportedly depart the Spanish champions after contract renewal talks stalled, with more money said to be on offer from other clubs.
