Borja Mayoral admits ‘I’ll have to leave Real Madrid’ this summer as ‘I’ve gone two years without getting many minutes and I need them.’
Mayoral scored his first-ever Liga goal on Saturday during Madrid’s 2-1 win against Leganes, but the finish came on only his 28th appearance for Los Blancos.
“There are only a few games left and I don’t know what's going to happen, but I’ll probably have to leave the club at the end of the season so I can get more minutes,” the young striker said after the game.
“Ultimately, I’ve gone two years without getting many minutes. I need them, I’m young and I have to play.”
