‘Bayern attack most difficult’ – Carvajal

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal insists Bayern Munich’s front three are ‘the most difficult to defend against’.

The German champions are likely to line-up with their attacking trio of Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski and Franck Ribery against Madrid in Bavaria on Wednesday night in the Champions League semi-final first leg.

“The trio of Robben, Lewandowski and Ribery are the best and they will be the most difficult to defend against,” Carvajal is cited as saying by Marca.

“From a defensive point of view they are all highly dangerous in terms of marking and knowing that they can create room and score from any position.

“But we must stay focused on our own plans and objectives, it would be amazing to win a third consecutive (Champions League) title.

“We go into this game with a lot of motivation and enthusiasm.”
