Sevilla President Jose Castro has warned that the club will ‘take action’ after their 5-0 defeat to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey Final.
Castro, Coach Vincenzo Montella and sporting director Oscar Arias quickly faced calls to resign after Saturday’s heavy defeat, while Steven N’Zonzi is set to be sanctioned by Sevilla, having partied the same evening.
“We were excited about the Final, but we didn’t measure up. The team didn’t the necessary intensity or accuracy,” he said after the game.
“Now the important thing is to have a cool head, take action and decide what’s best for the club. One of the bastions of our club, the fans, felt the blow.
