‘Barca don’t scare Sevilla’ – Sarabia

Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia insists his side ‘are not scared’ of Barcelona ahead of Saturday’s Copa del Rey final.

The two clash in the showpiece on Saturday evening just weeks after the Andalusians came within five minutes of defeating Barca in the league, before being pegged back to a draw.

“Anything can happen in a match like this,” Sarabia is cited as saying by Sevilla club media.

“The smallest details can make the difference and we're going to try and remain focused through the entire match so nothing escapes us.

“We aren't scared at all, we'll try and exploit our own weapons and make them feel uncomfortable in every aspect of play.

“Scoring is a challenge we have but the important thing is we're creating chances. I'd be more worried if we weren't. We have to be as aggressive as we can.

“We have a beautiful chance to win another title for Sevilla. We have to come out of the season with positives. It's true that we haven't been consistent in La Liga but in the Champions League we made history and in the Copa we have the chance to lift a title.

“We can't think about anything else than the final, these last few days training in Marbella are going to be good to keep away any distraction and to focus us on winning.

“We wanted to win in the Riazor but we were lacking conviction. We now need to think about our next match, which is the most important of the year.

“We will try and exploit our own weapons and make them uncomfortable in all facets of play.”
