Roma sporting director Monchi believes the other three semi-finalists in the Champions League will now ‘fear’ the Serie A side.
Eusebio Di Francesco’s side staged a remarkable comeback to eliminate Barcelona in the last eight of the competition on Tuesday, giving them a first semi-final appearance since 1984.
“On Wednesday we will start preparing the derby, then we’ll see how the draw goes,” the sporting director told Roma TV.
“It’s difficult to say which rival would be better. Two steps to Kyiv? Maybe. Four teams can dream, and Roma are one of them.
“Perhaps the others will be afraid of Roma now.”
