UEFA charge Barca for fan incidents

Barcelona have been charged by UEFA in relation to fan incidents during their 4-1 victory over Roma on Wednesday, it has been confirmed.

The Blaugrana overcame the Serie A side 4-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final but the night brought a sour note as objects were thrown onto the pitch.

UEFA claim their disciplinary regulations have been broken by incidents at the Camp Nou and the organisation’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will meet on 31 May to determine a punishment.

The Catalan giants travel to Rome on Tuesday for the second leg of their tie, in which they are in full command.
