Moya: No regrets on La Real move

Goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya has ‘no regrets’ about joining Real Sociedad in January despite the situation ‘not going as planned’.

The Spaniard joined the Basque club from Atletico Madrid earlier this season but La Real Coach Eusebio Sacristan and sporting director Loren have both left the club since.

“Things has not worked out as I would have planned, but I have no regrets about coming here,” Moya told an interview with Marca.

“There are many challenges now facing the club but I am ready to be a part of it and I am ready to fight.

“It is sad for me for Eusebio and Loren both to depart as they both put a lot of energy into bringing me to the club, and I would only talk with them.

“Our poor form is not ideal as any players hates not winning but we need to analyse our own performances and keep working on improving.

“We must aim to get as many points as possible in our next eight games.”
