Zinedine Zidane has reportedly given his approval to Real Madrid’s pursuit of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.
According to AS, Lewandowski is the player Madrid have ‘chosen’ to bolster their front line for next season.
The newspaper explains that while Los Blancos have yet to open talks with Bayern, the Germans are willing to sell the 29-year-old for a fee ‘close to €100m’.
Furthermore, Zidane’s club may decide to waive the €42m that Bayern are due to pay for James Rodriguez next year.
