Real Sociedad have reportedly opened talks with Jose Luis Mendilibar about the Eibar boss becoming their new Coach.
La Real are in need of a new Coach after sacking Eusebio Sacristan earlier in the week, and Marca claims Mendilibar is their first choice to succeed the former Barcelona midfielder.
The Basque took charge of Los Armeros in 2015 after they were spared relegation by the courts and has gone on to establish them in La Liga.
However, his contract expires at the end of the season and the newspaper expects the 57-year-old to use the international break to notify Eibar of his plans going forward.
In the meantime, Los Txuriurdin have promoted B boss Imanol Alguacil until the end of the season.
