Dani Carvajal will sit out Real Madrid’s trip to Las Palmas for suspension after exceeding the yellow card limit with his booking against Girona.
The Spain international has accumulated too many yellow cards and his suspension was confirmed with a 51st minute booking for a foul on Girona striker Christian Stuani on Sunday.
The right-back is, as things stand, the only player who will be unavailable for Zinedine Zidane ahead of the trip to Gran Canaria, where the hosts are battling for their top-flight lives.
Achraf Hakimi would be the natural replacement for Carvajal in the squad although it may be more likely that Nacho Fernandez is drifted into the position, with Jesus Vallejo and Raphael Varane potentially playing in the centre.
