Coquelin suffers suspected fracture

Valencia midfielder Francis Coquelin has been taken to hospital after suffering a suspected bone fracture during training on Friday, say reports.

The French midfielder left the club’s training ground on Friday morning in an ambulance with ‘a suspected fractures’ reported by Cope Valencia.

The 26-year-old has impressed for Los Che since joining the club from Arsenal in a €10m deal in January, appearing in nine La Liga matches for the club.

Coquelin now looks set to undergo medical tests to discover the extent of his injury, but he looks likely to be ruled out for Saturday’s clash with Alaves at least.
