Neymar’s father has confirmed his son ‘has a future at Paris Saint-Germain’ amid rumours he will return to Spanish football.
The Brazilian forward, who is currently in his native country while he recovers from a season-ending injury, had been linked with a move to Real Madrid or a potential return to Barcelona.
“Neymar has a future at PSG and indeed his present is already here at PSG,” his father told reporters on Tuesday, as cited by Diario AS.
Standing alongside was the Parisian club’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, who added: “Neymar is happy, he is motivated to return to action with us as soon as possible.
“We want him to return this season, if possible, in Ligue 1 and the Coupe, he is doing everything possible to return for us.”
