Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega has dedicated his side’s Champions League victory at Old Trafford to the club’s fanbase.
The Argentine starred in the 2-1 victory over Manchester United, and also took time to praise two-goal hero Wissam Ben Yedder after the match.
“We all know Ben Yedder has a lot of qualities and is deadly in the final third, we know he provides great clarity in front of goal,” Banega told Marca.
“It is important to have players of his quality to come on from the bench and make the difference, it gives the entire team confidence.
“We want to dedicate this win to the fans in the stadium but also those who are at home – without them this victory would not have been possible.
“We have passed an extremely difficult round but know the next one will be just as tough, if not more, so we must continue to work hard.”
