Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez’s representative has confirmed the striker is ‘90% certain’ to join Inter despite interest from Atletico Madrid.
The Racing Club striker and Argentina Under-20 international had previously been strongly linked to both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.
In December there were widespread reports the 20-year-old had agreed to join Atletico in the summer of 2018, which had appeared to be confirmed by his agent.
“With Inter, it's 90% done,” Bety Yaque is quoted as saying by Marca.
“We had spoken with Manchester City before, while Fiorentina, Borussia Dortmund, Roma and Manchester United have also asked for him.
“As far as I can see, there is little possibility he will not sign for Inter as an agreement has been signed.
“Atletico Madrid were close but their offer was not as solid.”
