Mourinho tells Madrid: Forget De Gea!

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told Real Madrid to forget about any possibility of signing Spain international David De Gea.

The 27-year-old has been consistently linked with a move to the Spanish and European champions, and saw a proposed move in August 2015 break down in the eleventh hour.

“De Gea is here (at United) and I see his future here,” Mourinho told Spanish TV station La Sexta.

“I do not know what Real Madrid will attempt to do but I would recommend they think about another goalkeeper.”

De Gea will start for the Red Devils at home to Sevilla in the Champions League last 16 tie on Tuesday night.

Madrid missed out on a potential move for Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga – who extended his deal at the San Mames in January.
