Jesus Navas out of United trip

Sevilla winger Jesus Navas has been ruled out of his side’s trip to Manchester United due to a calf injury, it has been confirmed.

The 32-year-old re-joined the Andalucian club this summer after four years with Manchester City, where he won the Premier League title in his debut campaign.

Navas – who started the first leg in Seville last month – sustained the calf injury in the recent La Liga defeat against Atletico Madrid and has not recovered in time.

The winger will also miss his side’s league clash with Valencia due to the slow progress of his fitness recovery.

Sevilla will visit Old Trafford on 13 March with the tie tantalisingly poised at 0-0 after the first leg.
