Celta give Mor in Eibar win

Emre Mor was Celta Vigo’s game-changer as his introduction prompted a 2-0 victory over Eibar in La Liga on Saturday.

Mor replaced Pione Sisto for the second half and took just 11 minutes to cross for Iago Aspas’ 16th League goal of the season.

Maxi Gomez then moved on to 13 after he emphatically volleyed home Hugo Mallo’s perfectly-lobbed delivery in the box.

The win left Celta just three points off a European spot and many of their fans demand their record signing start ahead of Pione Sisto.

“I’m primarily responsible for our bad first half,” Coach Juan Carlos Unzue said after the game.

“Still, the fact I replaced Pione doesn’t mean I marked him out.”
