Ramos: Madrid have turned a corner

Sergio Ramos believes Real Madrid have ‘turned a corner’ with there results and can enjoy a strong finish to the campaign.

Wednesday night’s 3-1 victory at Leganes means Zinedine Zidane’s side have 16 points from their last six La Liga outings plus a 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in Europe.

“We have turned a corner and must continue on this path of results,” Ramos told reporters, as cited by Marca.

“These victories help to boost our morale but also help to give us momentum and in turn this means we can continue to fight for our objectives.

“We want to cut the gap by as many points as possible, we want to keep improving, to keep scoring lots of goals and concede as few goals as possible.

“The penalty? If Ronaldo isn’t on the pitch, me and Gareth Bale alternate, but there’s no rivalry.”
